About Us
We're Jorge and Stheffany, the husband-and-wife team behind Luz y Vida Photography.
I'm Jorge, the photographer behind the camera. I've been shooting since 2013 and love capturing real moments that tell a story. My focus is creating natural, timeless images while making sure you feel comfortable and confident throughout your session.
Stheffany is the creative director, CEO (her title, not mine), and the reason everything runs so smoothly. She helps with posing, wardrobe adjustments, details, and all the little things that make a big difference. She has a gift for helping people relax and feel like themselves in front of the camera.
We like to joke that she brings the Vida and I bring the Luz. She brings the energy, creativity, and warmth that help every session come to life, while I focus on capturing those moments through my lens.
For most sessions, you'll see both of us working together as a team. While I'm behind the camera, Stheffany is making sure your hair is in place, your dress is sitting perfectly, and your experience feels fun and stress-free.
When we're not working, we're spending time with our family, exploring Arizona, training jiu jitsu, and searching for new locations with beautiful light. And yes, there's usually a Coke Zero nearby during editing sessions.
Our goal is simple: create beautiful images, make you feel comfortable, and capture memories you'll treasure for years to come.
